Meet Joy
Hi. My name is Joy… and yes, I love a play on words. When you’re the only Joy of your generation you have to make it work for you!
I grew up in South Wales, speak Welsh fluently, and spent over a decade in London as a Head of Digital Marketing in the professional services sector. I loved the pace, the pressure and the drive in the corporate world - but eventually, I wanted something different: the freedom to choose clients who align with my direct style and passion for real change.
So I came home and started Consulting JOY.
What I do
I work with businesses across Wales and the UK, to help them get more from their marketing - whether that means clearer priorities, better results, or a more confident team.
I act as an extension of your team, offering senior marketing advice your people can lean on (without the cost of a full-time employee). My goal is to build up your internal resources - not replace them. I’ll coach your team, share what works, and leave your marketing function in a stronger place than I found it.
I’m not looking for a permanent seat at your table. I get in, improve what’s there, and step back when the job’s done.

Auditing your current marketing to spot risks and opportunities
Streamlining your processes so they’re easier to manage and scale
